Greece Itinerary – 7 Perfect Days in Greece (Athens, Santorini, Mykonos)

Athens
Day 1 Athens :

9:30am : Land in Athens
10am : Transportation will be waiting at the gate with a sign and they will track the flight (I booked through viator and it was great)
10:30am : Arrive at the hotel and freshen up (hotel details below)
11:15am : Ellyz Café - Coffee
12pm : Lunch (Google “Pita Gyros”) grab and go
1pm-2pm : Ancient Agora of Athens
2p-3:30p : Go to Acropolis of Athens (must do!)
3:30p : Salute Bistro for a drink and bite
4p-5pm : Acropolis Museum
5:30pm : Drinks at God’s Restaurant
7-9pm : Rivera Cost (Coffee by the coast) (reservations suggested)
Cocktails and Apps- 9:15pm : A is for Athens rooftop (Reservations suggested)

Where I stayed in Athens :

Hotel: Athens Diamond Plus
this hotel was great! In the heart of the city- very cute room, they delivery a basket in the morning with breakfast and you have a balance in the heart of Athens. Very walkable. (Check out my highlights on Instagram for Athens @sunitagabrielle)

Price- it’s around $100/night

Transportation- they do not provide it with the room, but they can arrange transportation service for you.

Day 2 Athens to Mykonos :

9:30am : Leave the hotel and go to the Port (booked ferry through ferryhopper)
11am : Ferry leaves for Mykonos (food on boat, but I suggest bringing food if you can)
2:30pm : Mykonos- hotel includes free transportation from port and picked us up
3pm : check in freshen up
4pm : Go see the Windmills
5pm : Little Venice - cocktail at Negritas bar (Beautiful place!! Reservations recommended)
7:30pm : Uber to Hippie Fish for dinner (reservations recommended)
9pm : Scorpios for live music and drinks


Day 3 Mykonos :

6am : Sunrise at the Castle of Chors
6:45am : See the houses of little Venice
7:30am : Go back to the hotel and get breakfast and get ready
9am : Windmills and Church of Panagia Paraportiani
10am : Check out old port city - the waterfront
12pm : Kastros Lunch (if reservations are available)
1:30pm : Walk around the town
3:30pm : SantAnna Beach Club and Pool - (reservations during peak time recommended) go next door after for music and drinks
8pm : Dinner there or at Nannos
9:30pm: finish up with a night out in the heart of Mykonos

Where I stayed in Mykonos:

Hotel: Villa Konstantin it’s is nice, has free transport to and from the port and free breakfast.

If I were to stay again, I would try to find a place down on the water because it is such a hike to get up and down to the main area- but this was still a lovely hotel! (Check out my highlights on Instagram for Mykonos @sunitagabrielle)

Price-$200-$300/night

Day 4 Mykonos to Santorini :

8:30am : wake up, have breakfast and walk across the street for a mimosa and a view at Bellou bar
11:30am : Leave for the port (hotel provides transportation for free)
12:15am : Take off for Santorini
3:15pm : Get into Santorini
4pm : Explore the area, walk the streets and shops
6:45pm : Dinner at Ditmitris Ammoudi- Sunset (reservations recommended)
8pm : have an easy night and get some drinks with a view and then bed early

Day 5 Oai, Santorini:

6am : Wake up and go see the sunrise at Byzantine Castle Ruins
7am - 8 : Santorini Photo Tour w/Pano (Airbnb experience highly recommend booking ahead of time- this is well worth it. He tells you the history and knows the area very well)
10am : Go back to hotel and get breakfast at the hotel (included and delivered to our patio)
11am : Pyrgos Kallistis- see the blue dome churches, roam the streets (best preserved medieval settlement)
11:30am : Explore Emporio Village
lunch 12pm : Metazi Mas
1:15pm : Get Ready for cooking class and walk around Oai
3:30pm-7pm : Cooking Class- Pick up at hotel (TripAdvisor- Cooking Lesson & cocktails) - highly recommend
7pm : Dinner at vineyard where the cooking class
8pm : Drinks with a view (Fino)


Where I stayed in Santorini :

Hotel: Oai Memories Suites - this was a lovely hotel! The manager was great, breakfast is included, transportation to and from the hotel is also included, and they bring your breakfast right to your balcony- it was amazing! And the perfect location. There is nothing like the view in Santorini! I did a lot of research and this is the best bang for your buck! - Check out my highlights on Instagram for Santorini @sunitagabrielle)

Price- $330-450/night


Day 6 Oai, Santorini - to Fira Santorini :

8am : Wake up at the Hotel- Have breakfast on the deck with the view
11am : hotel transfer to new Hotel in Fira
12:15am : Arrive in Fira
1:15pm : Ride cable car to the top of cliffs and walk around to see the views
or : walk around and shop Fira
2:30pm- 8pm : Boat Day- this is the one we did!
9pm-11pm : Wedding experience -this is a traditional wedding experience/show you can break plates eat apps and drink wine!


Day 7 Fira Santorini :

8am : Wake, get ready
9:30am : Hike to Imerovigli and find breakfast on the way (less than 2 miles of a hike)
10-11:30am : Hike Skaros Rock (Go to the chapel side- will take about 45 minutes)
12pm-4pm : Le Moustache- rent a pool bed (reservation recommended) this is walkable from the hike (20min walk)
6pm : Reservations for dinner at Le Moustache
7pm : Walk the shops and go back, change and go out
Drinks : Kaliya Reimagined Food & Drinks

Where I stayed in Fira:

Hotel: Sofi Rooms - this was a cute boutique hotel, owned by Sofi herself. She was extremely sweet. They have a breathtaking rooftop view of the island, rooms are on the smaller side, but it was still the perfect location and beautiful view. Breakfast isn’t included.

Transportation: Not included here, however they will be happy to arrange it for you with baggage help if you request it (at least 24 hours before) for 5 euro a bag which I suggest doing before you get there and for when you leave.

Price: $115-130/night

Day 8 Fira to Athens - leave :

5:50am : Leave for Airport (arrange with hotel and bag help- around $50 euros for 2 people and 2 bags)
7:25am : take off for Athens
8:20am : Land in Athens
11:40am : Take off to go home :(
